The Rite of Christian Initiation is the process for which adults become members of the Catholic Church.  the central and unifying principle of the rite in conversion.  by entering into the conversion journey through RCIA, the candidates join the paschal journey of Jesus Christ and are introduced to Church doctrine, life, liturgy, and apostolic work.  the process is concerned with the total formation of the candidate believing, praying, and serving the Church community which culminates in the celebration of the initiation sacraments of Baptism, confirmation, an dthe Eucharist at Easter.

The Rite is desined primarily for:
-People seeking baptism, those not previsouly
baptised.
-People baptised in other Christian denominations
who seek membership in the Catholic Church.
-People who have been baptised as Catholics but
who have little or no formation in the Catholic
tradition.

Additional information about RCIA may be found in the rack in the church vestibule, or by calling the Rectory at 410-235-5136.  A member of the Parish staff will contact you.
